The ever growing Nigerian entertainment industry will be the key focus when the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, CIS, meet for its annual conference.

With the theme, The Capital Market: The Key Catalyst to the Development of the Entertainment Industry in Nigeria, the stockbrokers said there was a need for connection between the entertainment industry and the capital market. According to Akeem Oyewale, the chairman of the CIS programme committee, who spoke with journalists in Lagos, the conference would foster a beneficial relationship between the capital market and the entertainment industry.

He explained that the capital market was a market, which provided long term funding for the entire economy.
